Labour Day in Canada is celebrated on the first Monday of September. It celebrates workers’ rights to campaign for better working conditions or pay.

The Kamloops & District Labour Council represents approximately 13,000 unionized workers from many different types of unions in the Kamloops area covering Merritt to Valemount and Chase to Lillooet.

This year we’re back at McDonald Park!

Kids, families, and individuals are invited to participate in our Annual Labour Day Picnic.

We’ll have Games, Music, BBQ, and displays from various local unions organizations.
