2025 National Day of Mourning

Each year on April 28th, we gather to honor and remember those who have lost their lives, been injured, or suffered illness due to workplace-related incidents. The National Day of Mourning is a time for reflection and a call to action — to renew our commitment to safe and healthy workplaces for all.

Join us at the East Pleasant Street Cemetery as we pay tribute to fallen workers and support those affected by workplace tragedies. The ceremony will include remarks from community and labour representatives, a moment of silence, and a wreath-laying in remembrance.
