Remembrance Day 2024

November 13, 2024

On Remembrance Day in Kamloops, we gathered to honor and remember those who served and sacrificed for our freedom. On this Remembrance Day, we stood together in reflection, paying tribute to the courage, dedication, and resilience of veterans, active service members, and their families.

Through moments of silence and the laying of wreaths, we reaffirmed our commitment to preserving peace and standing in solidarity with those affected by the legacy of war. We remember their sacrifices with gratitude and hold their memories close in our hearts. Lest we forget.

Lois Rugg and Talitha Dekker laid a wreath on the cenotaph located in Riverside Park, where the ceremony took place.
