2026 Wiener Dog Race Photos

This past weekend, members of the Kamloops & District Labour Council had the chance to get out into the community and take in one of the most entertaining events Kamloops has to offer: the Kamloops Storm Wiener Dog Races.

From the first sprint off the starting line to the final dash across the finish, the races delivered exactly what they promise: big energy, big laughs, and a whole lot of hometown spirit. It was a great reminder that community events like this are about more than what happens on the track. They bring people together, support local organizations, and create the kind of shared moments that make our city feel connected.

Labour is part of that community fabric. Whether we’re showing up to support local events, cheering alongside families and neighbours, or simply taking time to enjoy what makes Kamloops unique, we’re proud to be visible and involved.
