For students in a Skilled Trades program

Cynthia Friedman Memorial Bursary

For women in a S.T.E.M or Trades program

  • Blythe Paetkau, Mark Paetkau TRUFA
    My current plan is to finish my undergraduate degree in kinesiology at UVIC. I would then love to apply to a masters of physiotherapy at UBC in hopes of becoming a physiotherapist

Bill Ferguson Memorial Bursary

For students in Environmental or Natural Resource Sciences

  • Devvriti Sethi, member CUPE 900
    I am currently pursuing my undergrad in animal biology (Bachelor of Science) and I am very passionate about conserving and sustainably managing nature and its wildlife. I would love to conserve the environment and wildlife on a global scale.

General Bursaries

  • Ahmed Sheikh, Zahid Sheikh CUPE 4879
    I plan to pursue software engineering at TRU and begin in fall of 2023. I want to work at a big company in the future like Netflix or Apple
  • Carolyn Collins, Christina Cederlof TRUFA, Caroly member of CUPE 900
    I plan to take the engineering transfer program at TRU. Then I will transfer to UVIC or UBC to become a Biomedical Engineer
